Having played a significant role in the federally funded Human Genome Project—generating the complete sequences of Chromosomes 5, 16, and 19—the JGI has now moved on to contributing in other critical areas of genomics research.

This session is for teachers interested in joining the kit loan program or for teachers who would like a review of lab techniques.

PCR Kit Training Session
This session is for teachers interested in utilizing the PCR kit with their advanced classes. We will be demonstrating the new thermal cycler and modified lab protocol for teachers interested in a review.
