Currently, 53 biology teachers in schools throughout the Greater Sacramento Valley make up the Biotechnology Teacher Support Network (BTSN). BTSN members meet several times a year to review supported software and labs, share classroom experiences, and troubleshoot experiments. Each of the meeting dates features a lecture and/or tour from an invited guest speaker.

In addition to these ongoing educational opportunities for current BTSN members, the Biotechnology in the Classroom program offers annual biotechnology training workshops to introduce new teachers into our BTSN group.
