For those students interested in expanding their educational experiences in biotechnology, we offer the Saturday DNA Program. This supplemental workshop covers more advanced topics in biotechnology and genomics not touched on by the Biotechnology in the Classroom kits. Dates for the 2011 program will be posted in January 2011.

Applicant Qualifications
• Nominated by a Biotechnology Teacher Support Network instructor
• Previous experience with biotechnology kits offered through the Biotechnology in the Classroom
program or a similar biotechnology experience
• Completion of a program application and signed safety contract
